The Story Behind My Professional Sound Healing Training and IPHM-Recognised Educational Pathway
When people attend a sound bath for the first time, they often notice the instruments first — the deep resonance of a gong, the soothing tones of crystal singing bowls, or the gentle vibration of Tibetan bowls.
What many people might not see is the learning journey behind the experience.
Sound healing is not simply about playing instruments. It is about understanding;
- How to create a safe and supportive space
- How to guide people into stillness
- How to work with different group dynamics
- How to hold an experience with care, presence, and integrity.
My own journey began with a curiosity about sound, meditation, and human wellbeing. This led me to study a Professional Diploma in Sound Healing through YogShri Healing & Research Institute (Rishikesh, India) (at Prem Yoga Studio) , where I learned from experienced teachers and practitioners dedicated to the study of sound as a holistic wellness practice.
The training programme was later recognised by the International Practitioners of Holistic Medicine (IPHM), reflecting internationally recognised standards within the holistic wellness field.

As a founder of Luna Loamy Studio, I am grateful to have received training through a programme that upholds professional standards and a commitment to continuous learning.
Alongside my 𝗜𝗖𝗔𝗴𝗶𝗹𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗙𝗮𝗰𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 background, I’ve been exploring how mindful experiences, sound, deep listening, and reflective practices can support teams in ways that traditional workshops sometimes cannot:
• creating space to slow down
• reconnecting beyond roles and deadlines
• strengthening presence, trust, and human connection within teams

Yet, certificates are only one part of the story.
The real learning happens through practice — facilitating sound baths, supporting retreat participants, collaborating with wellness communities, and witnessing how different people respond to sound, silence, and mindful presence.
Every session teaches something new.

At Luna Loamy Studio, sound is not viewed as a performance. It is an invitation to slow down, reconnect with yourself, and experience a moment of stillness in a world that often moves too fast.
Whether you join a group sound bath, a private session, a retreat, or a corporate wellbeing experience, you are not only hearing the instruments.
You are experiencing the result of years of study, practice, reflection, and a genuine passion for supporting human wellbeing through sound.
Because behind every sound bath is a learning journey — and that journey continues with every person who enters the space.
I am grateful to the teachers, collaborators, and communities who continue to walk this path together. 🌿
If your organisation is exploring new formats for team connection or wellbeing initiatives, I am always open to a conversation or to collaborating on design.
